As future educators based in Galveston Independent School District, we recognized a critical gap in communication tools for nonverbal middle schoolers and decided to build the solution ourselves. Through classroom research, collaboration with speech pathologists, and real-world testing with students, we designed VOXCounts to be intuitive, inclusive, and genuinely useful in educational settings. Together, we're proving that every voice counts.
